Polaris Sleep

At-home sleep testing

An at-home sleep study, without the sleep lab

You do not have to spend a night in a clinic wired to a machine to find out what is happening with your sleep. If testing is right for you, we mail a small device to your home and you sleep in your own bed.

Every step is clinician-led. You meet a sleep medicine practitioner online first, and you review your results with that same team afterward.

Appointments as soon as this week • Virtual visits • Most major insurance accepted

Start with a virtual visit

A sleep medicine practitioner reviews your history and decides whether a home sleep test is appropriate for you.

Test in your own bed

If testing is recommended, a small wearable device ships to your home. You wear it overnight and send it back.*

Review results together

Your practitioner walks you through what the test found and what your options are, in plain language.

* Insurance coverage and test availability may vary by patient.

Questions people ask us

How does an at-home sleep study work?
After a virtual visit, we ship you a small monitor that records breathing, oxygen levels, and heart rate while you sleep. You wear it for one or more nights at home and return it. A clinician interprets the recording and reviews the findings with you.
Is a home sleep test accurate?
Home sleep apnea testing is a widely used, clinically validated way to evaluate obstructive sleep apnea in adults. It is not right for every situation, which is why a practitioner reviews your history first and may recommend in-lab testing instead.
Does insurance cover a home sleep study?
Most major insurance plans cover sleep testing when it is clinically indicated. Coverage and test availability vary by plan and by patient, so we confirm your benefits before anything ships.
